The Dark Side of "The Force"

I just came across this article and found it very interesting. Looks like Salesforce is nervous about potential competitors and is bullying them...

This is just good copyright practice. If you don't actively protect your intellectual property, in the eyes of the law, you are granting permission to infringe on it.

How is this considered "bullying?" And since when is Salesboom a rival? Their rivals are NetSuite, MS, Oracle, etc.

I certainly think Salesboom is a rival of salesforce.com. Isn't this the same type of stuff Siebel when salesforce was going at them?

From what I heared they even threatend to close them down!
And a rival is someone who competes for business, and there are few more that are real rivals to salesforce.com besides Salesboom, such as Salesnet and Entellium.

Oracle is not a rival! MS is not a rival.
